Disclosure: who pays us and why
Updated October 2026
Our main business is truck dispatch, paid by a percentage of the loads our customers haul. We also earn money from three partner relationships, listed below. Signing up through our links never changes the price you pay, and we only point readers to a partner where it fits their situation.
Factoring referral: RTS Financial
We don't factor invoices ourselves. When you request a factoring quote on our site, we refer you to our factoring partner, RTS Financial, and we may be paid for that referral. Your rate, advance and terms come from them, not us. You're free to factor with anyone, or not at all, and it doesn't affect our dispatch service.
Affiliate: Vertical Identity (DOT drug and alcohol consortium)
Owner-operators who drive a truck that requires a CDL must be in a random drug and alcohol testing program, usually through a consortium. Some of our pages link to Vertical Identity's consortium enrollment. If you enroll through our link, we may earn a fee. These links appear only where they apply: drivers of trucks that don't need a CDL aren't covered by these DOT testing rules, and we say so on those pages.
Affiliate: TruckClub (breakdown protection)
A few of our cost calculators link to TruckClub, which sells extended warranty and breakdown protection plans for commercial trucks. It is not insurance and doesn't replace liability, cargo or physical damage coverage. If you sign up through our link, we may earn a fee.
How partner links are marked
- Partner links go through a short redirect on our site (they start with /go/) and are marked as sponsored for search engines.
- A short disclosure line appears next to the first partner link on any page that has one.
- Partner prices or plan details we mention come from the partner's public pages, with the date we checked.
Who we have no relationship with
We have no paid relationship with any trucking company, CDL school, recruiter, staffing agency, load board or government agency named in our guides. No company pays to appear in our lists or rankings. If that ever changes, it will be listed on this page first.
Questions
Ask us anything about these relationships through the contact page. How we research guides is explained in our editorial policy.
